Our barefoot shoes come with a thin, removable insole. Insoles can help you transition from standard shoes to minimalist ones, as changing too quickly can cause issues.
They also provide extra insulation in cold weather. Many customers start with the included insole and later remove it as they adjust. We also offer additional, thicker insoles in our store if needed.
The term "barefoot shoe" refers to the shoe's wide shape and flexible material that mimics barefoot walking. Whether you wear socks is a personal preference, but most of our customers do wear socks with their barefoot shoes.
If you're between sizes and have wider feet, we recommend choosing the larger size. All purchases are covered by our 30-day return policy, counted from your delivery date, if the fit isn't right.
