Traditional rigid soles can cause discomfort and throw your body out of its natural alignment during everyday activities. Experts agree that barefoot walking is best for your feet and overall health.
Our Motion Max shoes feature an ultra-light, flexible 4mm sole. This innovative design promotes a natural walking motion, encourages proper foot alignment and helps alleviate common discomforts in knees, hips, back, ankles, and feet.
Sizes are shown as US Women and US Men on the same button, so pick the row that matches the size you normally buy.
Measure your longest foot at the end of the day, when your feet are at their largest. If you are between two sizes, take the larger one. Order one size up if you wear thicker socks or your own orthotic insole.
The toe box is wider than a conventional shoe by design, so wide feet and feet that swell during the day usually fit without going up a size.
Full measuring method and a chart for every model in our size and care guide.
These are barefoot shoes, so they have no arch support, and that is deliberate. A supportive shoe holds the arch in one position. A barefoot shoe leaves the foot free so the muscles that carry your arch do that work themselves.
If you have worn cushioned or supportive shoes for years, expect the first days to feel different. Start with an hour or two at a time on flat ground and build up over two to three weeks. Some tightness in the calves or the arch early on is those muscles waking up.
Once you are used to them, they are made to be worn all day.

What is Grounding and Why You Need It
Imagine walking barefoot on soft grass or warm sand, feeling instantly calmer, happier, and energized. That feeling comes from something called grounding—connecting directly to Earth's natural energy.
The Earth provides natural electric currents that help your body get rid of stress, boost your mood, and even reduce aches and pains. Just like sunshine gives you vitamins, Earth's energy helps your body feel balanced and healthy.
Why Barefoot Shoes Are Your Safe Path to Grounding
Walking completely barefoot gives you the strongest grounding benefits, but it can come with risks like stepping on sharp rocks, nails, or debris. That's exactly why barefoot shoes exist—they closely replicate the natural barefoot experience while protecting your feet.
With our innovative copper grounding pin built into the sole, you get 99% of the grounding benefits of going fully barefoot, plus complete peace of mind knowing your feet are always safe.
Say Goodbye to Stress and Inflammation!
Grounding works scientifically because Earth's natural energy supplies your body with electrons, tiny charged particles, that help neutralize harmful free radicals. These free radicals cause inflammation, stress, and pain.
By regularly grounding, you naturally reduce inflammation, support faster healing, improve sleep quality, and lower stress levels, resulting in a healthier, calmer, and morebalanced body and mind.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need special insoles?
Our barefoot shoes come with a thin, removable insole. Insoles can help you transition from standard shoes to minimalist ones, as changing too quickly can cause issues.
They also provide extra insulation in cold weather. Many customers start with the included insole and later remove it as they adjust. We also offer additional, thicker insoles in our store if needed.
Should I wear socks with these shoes?
The term "barefoot shoe" refers to the shoe's wide shape and flexible material that mimics barefoot walking. Whether you wear socks is a personal preference, but most of our customers do wear socks with their barefoot shoes.
How do I find the right size?
If you're between sizes and have wider feet, we recommend choosing the larger size. All purchases are covered by our 30-day return policy, counted from your delivery date, if the fit isn't right.
Isn't walking actually barefoot better than wearing barefoot shoes?
While walking truly barefoot has benefits, it's not always safe or comfortable, especially in cold weather or on rough surfaces.
Barefoot shoes protect your feet from sharp objects and cold, wet surfaces while still providing the barefoot experience. They offer the benefits of barefoot walking without the risks.

Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.8 / 5 from 4829 reviews.
I bought these for the grounding feature, not just the barefoot shape. I work twelve hour ER shifts, and on days off I usually stand barefoot in the grass because it calms my legs down after being under fluorescent lights all day. The copper pin is what made me try these; it lets there be some contact through the sole instead of blocking everything like a normal sneaker. I can't measure cortisol or inflammation in my kitchen, obviously, and I am not pretending these are medical equipment. What I can say is that after long outdoor walks I feel less wired, my knees are not screaming, and my toes have room. I still rotate shoes for work, but these are the pair I want after a shift.
Retired mail carrier, so I have opinions about walking shoes. These are good ones. Light, wide in the front, easy on my knees for morning walks. I gave four stars because gravel driveways feel sharper than I would like. Sidewalks, grocery store, neighborhood walks — excellent. I already liked barefoot walks in the grass, so the copper contact made sense to me. Whether that part is the reason or not, I feel more planted in these than in my padded sneakers.
These are almost slipper-light, but not flimsy. I wear them around the house, errands, school pickup, quick walks with my mom. Took maybe ten days for my calves to adjust, then they became the shoes by the door that I grab without thinking. I do wish the laces were a little nicer, but comfort-wise I am very happy.
Three stars, but not because they are bad. They are just not instant miracle shoes. If you are coming from thick cushioned sneakers, your calves may hate you for the first week or two. Mine did. I had to alternate with my old shoes and build up slowly. Now they feel much better and I like the wide toe area a lot.
Salon floors are brutal. Eight hours behind the chair used to leave my heels burning, and by Saturday I would stand sideways just to take pressure off one foot. Day one in these I was honestly unsure because they felt flatter than what I was used to. Week one was okay. Week two, my feet felt like they were working differently. Week three, I was telling clients about them while cutting hair. The pink and white pair is cute enough for work outfits, not that bulky orthopedic look I refuse to wear. My warning: give your feet time. If you judge them after one shift, you might miss the point.
Took the white pair on a 4 day trip and accidentally made them my only shoes. Airport, museum floors, old sidewalks, dinner, hotel breakfast, all of it. They got dusty fast, yes, but wiped clean with a damp cloth. I like them.
Warehouse supervisor. I am on concrete a stupid amount, but I am also realistic: these are not safety shoes and I do not wear them where steel toes are required. For normal floor walks, errands, weekend stuff, they are excellent. The sole felt thin the first few days because I was used to big padded shoes. After a week I preferred these because I felt more stable instead of wobbling on foam. Black pair looks clean too.
Third grade teacher. Hard floors, playground duty, kneeling beside desks, chasing children who have apparently never heard of walking. The pink pair got dirty faster than I wanted, which is why I'm not giving five stars. But my feet have more room and my lower back is not as cranky after school. My students noticed the shoes immediately and one asked if they were 'marshmallow sneakers.' Not wrong. Comfortable little marshmallow sneakers with better toe space.
I bought them mainly for evening walks. Comfortable, flexible, and the front is not narrow. The grounding feature is interesting, but honestly the biggest thing for me is that I come home less stiff.
I drive rideshare nights and weekends, so my feet do this weird half-working thing for hours — not walking exactly, but pedals, braking, flexing, sitting with my right foot tense the whole time. My old sneakers made my toes feel jammed by midnight. These have enough room up front that I stopped noticing my feet during shifts, which is basically the highest compliment I can give a shoe. The grounding bit sounded like internet stuff to me at first. I still can't prove it, but the copper contact is there and the shoes feel more connected to the ground than my thick running shoes. Friday night shift, six hours, no foot cramps. Sold.
CNA in Phoenix. My feet swell by the end of doubles, especially in summer, and most shoes turn into little ovens. These breathe better and don't crush the front of my foot. I was skeptical about the grounding pin, but I do feel steadier moving fast down halls. Could be the zero drop, could be the wider toe box, could be the pin. I honestly do not care which part is doing it. I just know my feet are less angry after work.
